body is a sport.

your physical beyond your physical.

Body Is A Sport is a traveling health studio and community that offers women-only 1:1 training, small group training and education centered community events focused on bridging the gap between your doctor’s office and daily life. We help you navigate wellness outside of your annual physical.

ABOUT

We let you sweat, recover and talk about how hormonal you are without anyone telling you you’re being dramatic.

from the founder

“Get some sun and try exercising” was the response I got from my doctor’s office after sending them my concerns about how unbearable my endometriosis symptoms were getting. This reply was from the same office that did my laparoscopy surgery 2 years prior after it taking 12 years to get a diagnosis.

Of course, this response made me furious and I took it to social media to create awareness of how much BS comes with any women’s health disease and not to mention — periods, menopause, birth etc. SO many women replied and validated me with their own similar experiences. I knew I had to create a community where members could feel supported and have more resources than just Google to navigate their health.

Only 1% of healthcare research and innovation involves women outside of oncology. It’s crucial that women come together and share their experiences to change the direction of science and research.

My hope is that Body Is A Sport is a community you love coming back to because it makes you feel less alone.
